If you can get the size down to 40kb or less you can use the "attach file" option when you are writing your replies. That's what craig has been doing in this post. |
Thanks Jason,
Nearly there, but HOW DO YOU post to the specific post such as this. I now have posted a corvette with 850HP cat engine to the general picture site. Oh technology, what happened to good old copy an paste PCC |

When you post a reply do you use the little window down the bottom of the thread or do you click on the "post Reply" button? If you do the latter you will have an option to "attach file. Just hit the browse button and find the file on you local hard drive (your computer). Make sure it is under 40kb in size. The one you posted earlier was 58Kb. You would need to reduce that one if you wanted to add it to a post. I can tell you how to do that to if you like. |
Jason,
Nearly nearly there, Yes how do you reduce in size? PCC |
The easiest way I use is:
open the picture in "Windows Paintbrush (Paint)" click on the image button - go down to stretch/skew. Change the 100% in hor and ver to say 70%. this will reduce the size of your picture to 70% of the origanal size. Make sure you save it as a JPG that will compress the size even more. Good luck. |
Hey :3DSMILE:
I have tried to follow this to get my pictures on. Will wait for my daughter to get this one sorted  Otherwise looks like a visit to Jason to put them on. Then again I can just email them to you Jason...and can you put them on that way:confused: Cheers - I'm out of here now got work to do **) PS Have got nine boxes with a thousand of each toy still  ( I wish :3DSMILE: ) Imagine the sale cost total on eBay auction site. Your right they are going for $16 plus and $100 a full set. Now if I had a thousand sets that $100,000.oo #@*&#@ Perhaps the reason we ran out is that the suppliers are hanging onto stock Hah Hah %/ Will look into that Cheers :3DSMILE: Bernie Bernie Knight Mt. PCC Whose car is this? |
The Gold Cobra is owned by Stu Maxwell. The intake manifold is a pretty radical looking piece, isn't it! Whenever there's a race on, you can bet that Stu is there. He doesn't have heaps of power, but what he has gets to the ground with amazing ability. Very good combination of parts, and the car just keeps getting faster and faster by simply fine tuning what he has. Just quietly, I think he'll give a lot of the big block and open category Cobras a run for their money at the Nats!
|
What's under the hood Craig?
Cheers |
Well, I don't have any photos of his engine, and I don't know the specs!!! %/ Suffice to say it has an Autronic computer on a 302W. The manifold looks like a GT40 tubular intake that has two plenums - one on either side of the motor. Coil packs, free flowing exhaust. 3 speed auto with a mild convertor (2500rpm I think). He droves fulltime on Avon stickies. He or his son made the carbon fibre dashboard and trans tunnel. Ummm.... that's about all I know - sorry!
|
Sounds interesting, I'll have to keep an eye out for it at the nats.
