Steering Wheel Advise

I have a Ford 15'' Steering wheel on a AU Falcon upper column.

Due to the QLD sun its getting worn on the rim (or is it me hanging on for dear life) so need to replace in the near future.

I know a lot of you guys go for the wooden wheels, but can anybody recommend something a little more modern in keeping with a DRB dash / XR8 cluster?

Also, anybody out there with a DRB (moulded dash) how do you get the glove box to fit perfectly flush? Mine seems to "hang out" and is fixed with some very basic brackets - needs the professional touch.

Thanks guys

XR6/XR8 leather wheels are advertised from time to time in the papers/mags for about $100 - $130.

These are often "as new", after the owner replaced the factory wheel for a Momo or similar aftermarket wheel.

I think they look pretty good too, and whole lot cheaper than a Momo wheel and boss kit.
