Hi jason,

Thanks, I will keep pushing on with arrangements here.

I understand that the weekend may be the same weekend of the All Ford Day in Adelaide.

So need to get them fired up for this event.

SA are the one's that set the date!?!?!?!?!?

Anyway-
You know you can always count on the Vics to make up the numbers:)

BMK 12-15-2003 05:21 AM

Hi jason,

:3DSMILE:

We should throw them the challenge or do we settle for a ratio of 4 Vics to 1 SA member.

Jason

Point taken the SA guys are obviously coming in force to out number Victorians.

%/

What are your thoughts with doing a small two or three hour show and shine on Sunday morning in the park opposite the Commodore from say 0900 to 1100 whilst people have breaky.

%/

I could get the local Ford guys to put a few cars in and perhaps some other club cars - "Henry's classics" a local Thunderbird/Mustang group. They may join us for a run after

Some feedback perhaps from members?

Cheers

Sound like a great idea.
Maybe even the Saturday morning, that would give the late comers a little extra time to get to the Mount.

What are your thoughts on lunch at Penola on the Sunday.
The SA and Vic guys could both leave from there for the trip home.

BMK 12-17-2003 07:40 PM

Jason

:3DSMILE:

Penola sounds good.

Now, there are a few galleries there and some great antique type shops.

Additionally, there is quite an interesting historical path that you can walk down with a big display of early Australiana living. Original house etc. No cost to do this.

The Mary McKillop is there also.. a small few there to enter and look through the interpretive centre. Will get details.

%/

Yes, Penola sounds like the go. And it i,s as you pointed out in the path for both the SA group and Vics to go home.

The road between Penola and Casterton is sensational for a quick squirt. Penola to Adelaide through 40 wineries now thats another question.

**)

The pub in town is both large and has a good fare. Great outdoor beer garden.

Sounds like a car display Saturday opposite the Commodore then. I will get on with organising that.

Penola Sunday. Any other thoughts people. Again I will talk with the Pub there.

Have a great Christmas everyone

Cheers

Hi all

:3DSMILE:

A weekly update to keep this 'Thread ' at the top of the list - page one (1)

:MECOOL:

All accommodation will still be at the Commodore Motel - as last year,

The motel restaurant and back room are booked for a wedding on Saturday afternoon and night

%/

Book early to be at this central location.

So we will walk a leisurely 5 minutes to a nearby restaurant. They have a big screen and a seperate bar that we can use.

Good food and drinks prices. Bring some cash for here!! They do take cards if you prefer.

Will talk this through with Jason at 'All Ford Day', prior to locking anything in.

Cheers all
