Queensland Chapter
I have just returned to Australia after a few years overseas and will be dusting off my Cobra (now I will see just how well I stored it!). I wonder if anyone could pass on the details for the Queensland Chapter of the Cobra Club.. I think I will be joining.

Welcome to Club Cobra, but more importantly to the Qld Cobra Club. You'll see that this place is overrun with Victorians, but despite that, it's still not a bad place to hang out ;) They know I'm just playing..... The postal address for the Qld Club is PO Box 64 Ormeau Qld 4208 or you could call Marylin or Lee on 5575 8159 for a membership form. OR... bring your car down to Sanctuary Cove on Sunday 7th December. It's the 10th anniversary of the Qld Cobra Club, and it should be a great day. They'll have new membership forms there... There are 2 or 3 Dax cars in the Qld club. A couple of big blocks, and I think there's a small block. It'll be good to meet up! |

There is one or two South Australians here also. But should own up as I am really just visiting - a Victorian with a Visa. Cameron good also to have you aboard. I had a RMC a few years back and wonder if I may have bumped into you in Melbourne. %/ You and a guy with a red Dodge Viper I think he was involved in marketing or advertising. He had a GTR as well and I ended up at a terrace house in Melbourne south somewhere talking cars. I was working at Shell Oil in Geelong and doing some marketing freelance. Woke up to myself and got into the food industry. Welcome again Cameron - if I havn't met you - well I will be up there soon. P.S Don't let them lead you astray up there. More QLDer's the better. Look forward to catching up on the 7th. You'll spot our Cobra..... Its low, low and low - who needs suspension anyway. Who needs neons when you're underbelly sets the asphalt alight. |
