tilton floor mount pedals

i all i have presently installled my tilton racing floor mount pedals they are wonderful. but now i need to find a way to install a brake light switch. i have checked with tilton wildwood jegs summit and a few others for an inline brake pressure switch. and they say its not avaliable. so i dont know if there is another way to mount a regular elect switch, and possibly make a bracket. well any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks Neil

Neil - the guy that built my car over here (you posted this in the Australian section :) ) simply used an electrical switch off some non-descript import car, and made a small mount off the pedal box mount. They're small switches, so it shouldn't look ugly behind your brake switch.

Neil, like you I use the Tilton Floor mount system and use an electrical presure swith mounted inline with the rear brakes which is mounted directly on top of the the main rail behind the motor mount pillar. It works fine and I've never had a problem with the set-up. If you need pictures I'll try to get some for you - if not best of luck!

Neil, give me a call at the office at 800-895-7531 x101 when you have a chance.

Neil,

The instruction manual says to use the Stop Light Switch Ideal #SLS33. If that is what I have I can't tell you but it is what the assembly manual says to use so it most likely is correct. Best wishes!
