Question Street legal??

G'day All,

I was having a surf and came across an interesting page on APS's web site:

http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/falcon/legalities.htm

It basically gives an overview on the legalities of engine mods etc. While none of this was new to me it got me thinking - how many cobras out in Oz have been pulled over and coped a bright yellow sticker on their windscreen?

Most Cobs that I know have been played with to some extent.

While it's probably prudent not to talk about this subject in any great detail it would be interesting to know what dealings people have had with authorities.

Have the boys in blue simply wanted a closer look at your awesome Cobra or were they a bit short on making their quota?

Do you have to be really unlucky to get caught or is it strongly policed?

Cheers

Smile Boys in blue

A few might say my little blue toy is a little loud, and the driver missing a few nuts and bolts, but as much a i drive ever so carfully, i been pulled up 3 times now by the lads with the STD coment " do you mind blowing into this," followed by " well thats that out of the way , NOW whats under the bonnet, generally the second officer ( usually a gal ) sighs and folds her arms while i show the very kind, Officer what ever he wants to see and is usually blinded enough to not notice the hot side pipe melting the polish off his boot, or the other things i really cant mention here just incase...
Then i start her up ( quietly ) and just give a little chirp with the 315's under the back, to complete his smile, but thats just me

Now there is another story about a certian seariously faulty Hairdrier being pointed in my direction, and being informed that 176 could'nt be right could it, i said of course not.... thank god i had slowed... But that another story
