Cobra Daytona
I here (from a reliable source) that there is a set of Daytona moulds in a workshop in Townsville.
Does anyone know anymore? A Daytona in Queensland - now that would be nice. |

Richard Bendell (from www.motec.com.au) built a Daytona in Victoria with the help of others. I wonder if the moulds have floated north? |
DC&O had a Daytona body and it was running on a DRB chassis. They had some pictures of it on their web page along with the nice 8TB injection setups they made. I don't know if they are still in business and I have a feeling DRB may have the mould now or maybe know where it is.

I could sell the DRB and then finance the project! Then again at $45,000 US a Factory Five Daytona looks like a pretty good option. Not sure about the import hurdles (mountains). I'm told that the moulds in Townsville came direct from the USA and were ratified by Shelby (whatever that means). |
