Posted some pics
Hello,
I finally got around to posting some pics of our car. Including parts for our new "boat anchor" in the shape of a 351W engine block, crumbled pistons and broken in half crank shaft. On the up side - the 302W EFI is in and we can shut the bonnet- thanks to the custom made throttle body adapter, lowering the engine mounts and cutting some of the double skin away under the bonnet! It pays to have a hubby as a sheet metal worker by trade!. We bought the car as an unfinished project - the original colour of "green" is now painted an undercoat grey and I have re upolstered the dash and crash pad in grey leather to match the seats. The seats have purple inserts - ready for "Phantom" purple paint. Hopefully in a couple of weeks its off to the auto electrician for the final harness wiring - and then we can drive it again! I've been contempleting Phantom Purple also. Throttle body adaptor looks well made. Thanks for posting the pics. |
