Rim Centres
Have decided to change to centre lock wheels so have spare centres available if any one interested.
Originally made by OZ wheels with only about 50 kilometres of use. Centres drilled for Jaguar and Ford (2 of each). complete with spinners and nuts. If anyone interested send PM to negotiate. Thanks, Phil. |
Could be made into some nice looking wall clocks :p
Cheers |
Post a pic Phil

The centers are exactly the same as these except they are black.
OZWheels These are Leeroys wheels when I had them bolted on to my car. Phil has the same wheels but with black powder coated centers rather than clear. Hope this helps Phil. Cheers |
Thanks Mike. Only difference is I have fitted Cobra Deck badges to centre of spinner. Removable if not to taste.

What sized wheels are thes Phil?
And is it just the centres without the rims? How do I get in touch with OZ wheels regarding getting rims? What width rim will they suit for the classic revival chassis? So many questions. |
The centres are for 17" rims.
Tom at OZ wheels is on (02) 96066468. Yes centres only with spinners and chrome wheel nuts. I am running 7.5" front and 9.5" rears. Mike Murphy managed to get another 1' or so front and rear. If interested I could deliver centres to Tom. Hope your build is going well. Regards, Phil |
Phil when you get new centres had you thought of fitting s/steel capscrews instead of Tom's zinc ones as I reckon they would great. I thought I might to mine at some stage as I notice the zinc ones I have already are starting to tarnish a bit. I think with that many bolts s/steel would be strong enough.

Leeroy,
Yes I changed out all the bolts for SS. cost about $100 and that was with 86% discount through work. They definitely look better. There is however divided opinion on the CC site about suitability of SS from a strength viewpoint. I am not too concerned because they wont all fail at once, so if i start seeing bolts on the driveway or holes where there should be bolts then I might review the situation. Alternatively you could weld the rims together. Not sure how you would get all the sealing silastic off though? Regards, Phil |
