Racer boys
Does anyone know what days/s the QLD race boys are heading to Morgan Park this weekend? - Since my car is still getting built I suppose I'll be standing on the side line in a puddle of my own drool! (compared to racing my car and sitting in a puddle of my own p!ss)!!:D :JEKYLHYDE

Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th. July. " A Series" racing at Morgan Park Warwick. Organised by the Warwick District Sporting car club. Saturday 17th July. Saturday Afternoon Sprints. Queensland Raceway. Hope this helps |
Last w'end @ Morgan Park has been run and won --- people actually come to watch the cobras race. 12 drivers and 8 cobras,2 Gt40s. Stewy in his-no frills-gold colored automatic (DRB) is the won to catch!

Stanthorpe,S.E Queensland (where the weather is similar to Melbourne Vic. Aus.) Carnell Raceway --Fantastic!! --Like a mini Lakeside with an 1/8th drag strip included--good chance of body damage and tyre flat spotting if you get the lines wrong.
Surface is good, is exciting and viewing is excellent. If you're a "waxer" forget it ! |

Details follow: Held at Murwillumbah - just in NSW (approx 40 minutes from Burleigh) Tickets: Early Bird, 1 day $10.00--2 day $20.00 Gate, 1 day $15.00--2 day $25.00 (includes entry to paddock and pits) Great event for just wandering around the pits or having a beer in the local pub (looks directly down on the track - just after the first bend) Last year, there was about 5 or 6 Cobra's racing and this year I think there are 2 genuine GT 40's and a genuine Cobra (if memory serves me right). Don't forget the sun cream - was pretty hot last year. |
