Coil Over Shockies

Just me again, regarding the shockies has anyone used spax shockies and give me any feedback on them?
Also do the AVO's as recomended by Classic Revivals come with steel or alloy houseings?

I had the spax shocks on first and was not very happy with the ajustment and one developed a leaky seal after a short time on the road so I bit the bullet and got some AVO's and they seem a lot better so far.

Thanks for the reply Craig.
I have ordered the Spax shockies after trying to get AVO's no one could give me a firm price and eta.
The spax springs and shocks will be here next week at a cost of $1650.00
all up.
Due to an offer made by my employer I had to get the parts from a company that we have a tradeing account with and these where the best I could find.
I will use them and see how I go, if not happy I can upgrade later to Koni (i wish) please dont tell Mrs Boxhead.
So know I have also ordered my shifter assy.

Just back to shockies has anyone used GAZ shocks?

Boxhead,

I have used the QA1 coil overs with 12 way rebound adjustment and been very happy with them. I have had them on the car for about five years now and no problems at all.

Just for Jason's benifit...

It's just as well your running an LS1 there Boxhead. I hear these ford motors are far too heavy which means you would need at least 3 coil overs on each corner. :3DSMILE:

Nice aluminium finish. Adjustments as mentioned allow some significant changes.

Supplied by Ray at 'McDonald's Bros. Racing' on 03 9 4650000

Tell him they're for the Cobra. He will supply the relevant spring rate for the Cobra.

Let me know his price ( for comparison )

Bernie
