:confused: Now that list of plates you just 'Posted' took some sorting out. For a moment I thought that you have been on that Georgia moonshine. The guys over here don't know much about that drinking session at the Gateway Raceway. Now 'sipper' - ??? Georga mn ?? Might just share this story...:eek: Hell, I remember something about a blow up pumpkin that George A had brought along. :LOL: I thought I was dreaming. Then in the morning there it was 20 bloody feet high in the middle of the racetrack pits. I was ever so pleased to see it as I thought I had been hallucinating. If we could have cut the ropes it would have sailed over Missouri. I coughed and then I was pissed (drunk) again on moonshine. :eek: I have joined AA and sworn off all moonshine (until the DVSF). Hell, I thought this was my own idea :LOL: Your right its over on 'All Cobra Talk'. I think a few of us have used some of the plates numbers on our Cobras here. I had a play over on that site as the local heart Doctor has ARREST on his Porsche. (guess if he was any good he'd be driving a Ferrari) I put that Tag/plate on the site, and a few more on the site there one night when we were quite at work. :3DSMILE: I started it off over here as the registration branches from state to state have a limit on letters. You will see the difference as above 'Posts' indicate. %/ I'm amazxed as to the quantity of variations people can come up with on plates. Also the cost of having them. :eek: Cheers Bernie |
Hi all, just got back from Hamilton Island! Needed the break! Got straight on the forum (as you do!) as soon as I entered the house and noticed this post re plates. Just letting anyone interested from NSW know that 427 SC is actually available! and, believe it or not, REPTYL is as well! I have CSX 065 on my Cobra, don't know whether I will keep this plate as I have 0427 waitng to be transfered from my wifes car! very happy with these plates, only thing is that they cost an extra $400 per year on the rego! Worth it I think! Hope everyone is well and hopefully I will make it to the nationals to meet you all!

I am sure if you buy a plate in Victoria that is the one off only cost. There is no additional yearly costs. Certainly makes it better there for having the plate. It's amazing sometimes what is available, and often the most obvious. :eek: Now I don't think we could have anymore REPTYL's or REPTLE's. :LOL: Cheers Bernie |

I had BERNIE reserved and never kept it.
:CRY: Then in 1994 the Formula 1 GP head Ron Walker chased it up and apparently paid heaps for it, so that they could pick up the Formula 1 'el supremo' from the airport in his personally named/plated limo. :eek: Wonder what the Formula 1 people paid for it.
