The holes for my speedo and tacho will be the same size. I'll leave enough slack in the loom that I can swap them after it's registered. I figure having the tach right in front of you is more important.

Cheers

Cameron, I too can't see all my dials due to the momo wheel.

I have the column set so that I can see 80 and 100 kph only - seem's to work as I've yet to pick up a ticket!

I personally think that all dials should be directly in front of you, as looking left, as I do in the echo is simply off putting - especially when concentrating on the road, which you tend to do more so in a Cobra.

I went with 80 mm VDO gauges and even with small diameter steering whhel managed to get arrangement that allowed me to see all instruments. I think it wil be very difficult to view speedo and tacho if using 4" or larger let alone the other gauges.

I put priority on Tacho then oil pressure and water temp but managed (just) to be able to see all gauges.

You could always just run 80 mm speedo for engineering. Alternatively see what your engineer will allow.

Regards,

Phil.
