Hello All

Its been a while since my last post, been busy with family, showing dogs, work etc etc.

You may remember just before Christmas our carbi motor went bang in a big way!
Anyway we have finally got our car going again. The 5.0L is ticking over beautifully or should I say singing. Hubby tells me its the gilman drive.
The weather here in SA was great on Sat, so off we went for a short drive - under permit..............and yep it flies so to speak......COOL!! :)

The auto electrician here in Adelaide was great, although a little slow, just a young lad that mainly deals with hot 4s. The original loom doesn't seem to exist anymore - little left of the bulky beginnings. Glad I found that place in QLD that sells those unspeakable black magic boxes that can bypass a smart lock system.

Hubby is over the moon of course and now we can finally get down to business and finish off all the little things that make these cars look so good.

The colour is still going to be Ford "Phantom Purple" and lets hope we can get it painted this year!

Good to hear that you are out and driving. **)

May catch you all soon at an Adelaide meeting. I'm missing a few in Melbourne so will need to do a few there to make up.

I took a peek at your new pictures..............the colour looks really nice!

Peter is still grinning from ear to ear! Its nice to have a car moving along on its own steam and not behind a tow truck!
