New GT40 for Australian golfer

Read that Australian golfer Craig Parry is the now the proud owner of the GT40, valued at over $187,000 Parry took delivery of the GT40 after winning the PGA '2004 Ford Championship'. Part of the overall prize for Parry was a new release GT40 car in red. PGA organisers have been quoted as saying that this is the most valuable car prize to date. You know I think this is taxed as income. Now if he does not want it and sells it he has already paid the tax on the value of the vehicle.
Even though he has sold it for lot less. Now I would hate to be in that position, winning prizes that you don't or may not want. Give me cash $$$ anyday..:LOL: Bernie |
