Fuel Tank
I am currently using an alloy fuel tank that is made for a Classic Revival. I have finally conceeded and realised that it will never fit properly into my BSC Homebush.
Does anybody know of a reputable alloy tank fabricator in the Sydney area? Brett:confused: |
Hi Brett
speak to Phil Neall he has had one made up your way. There are plenty of classic revivals being made at the moment perhaps someone might be interested in your CR tank and offset your cost for a new one? Leeroy |
How much for the tank Brett?

Its one of Ians early versions. In my opinion I think the gauge of the alloy is too light. Plus the top panel is riveted on using sealer in the seams.
Its a perfect shape but the strength is dubious. The reason I can't use it is because it uses a internal Commodore fuel pump and the outlet and return foul on the cross bar of my chassis. I don't think it is worth much but I will take some snaps when I take it out and if your interested, make me an offer. Brett |
Hey guys
I have a new alloy tank that was made for my cobra before the wonderful rule changes forced me to convert to lpg. The tank is 900mm wide,530 long and 200 tapering to 90mm deep.It has built in surge tank, fuel sender and fill tube on drivers side.If it suits any one let me know and we will work something out.
