23 of the 30 rooms have been booked at the Gateway.
They may have a group cancellation next week that will free up another 10-15.
Went down to check it out on the weekend.
What an awesome motel, just perfect for our little get together.
Heaps of underground parking, nice out door area, great restaurant and a bar area to help re-hydrate the Cobra folk.

Had another 10 entries in the last 3 days.
Snaketales is due any day now, so all Cobra car club members should have they entry forms next week.

Winton was also in good shape when we visited.
One item that has been changed from the original format is the Shelby cruise on the Sunday morning. With over 2 and half hours of travelling through Shepparton to get to Heathcote Park, breakfast and petrol stops would make it impossible to get there before lunch.
So it will be breakfast at the motels before a 90km drive down the Hume to Seymour (top up the high octane) and 30 minute drive in to Heathcote Park. High Octane is available at Heathcote BP (19km from the drag strip) only one pump though so best to fill before hand.

Phil are you going to replace the windscreen before Easter?

Damn I wish my car was ready.

I know this is sad but I have not been able to do much work on it recently (lack of funds) but I have been going out to the shed and patting it good night most nights, I should wrap it in my blanket.

Boxhead,

Yes screen will be replaced this week. Also rear springs as I was supplied the wrong rear springs from the beginning. That should fix the coil binding issue. Also hope to have front sway bar fitted if I can get it made in time.

Also working on side windows just in case.

Will be leaving on Thursday so I will have time to check out the grape vines at Rutherglen.

I will do more kms on that weekend than i have done in first twelve months but know everything is sorted I hope to improve on that. Probably wont match Bernie

Phil.
