Light Switch
Don't you love it when the courier drops Cobra parts off.
My clutch arrived this morning. It's a SPEC stage 3 that's rated to 700 ft/lb of torque. The more I look at it the more I think this thing is going to be a light switch. It looks like it uses sintered bronze pads or some similar hard material. The sprung center should take a bit of the shock out of it but I think it'll still be a bit savage. Combining this clutch, a lightweight flywheel and 3.9-1 rear gears and I think i have a recipe for wheel spin. :D I guess I'll have to wait and see when I get it on the road. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...409clutch1.jpg Cheers |

6 years of driving a manual Ford F100 and I've already got Arnies left leg.
I bought a 7/8" clutch master cylinder rather than 1" that Ian reccomends. I've also tweeked the pedal ratio so I'll see how it all goes. Cheers |

Hi Mike dont worry about it i had a solid centred ceramic button clutch very much the same and had no trouble with it . paul gillis has one also and has had no trouble .
