Weirdest Experience in a Cobra
Here's one....
What's the weirdest thing you've done in a Cobra? One for the girls....... Two of the kids are in a fashion show tonight and Jack's a hairdresser. All the girls are in to straight hair at the moment. Well.... straighter than straight is just not cool. After the hair has been straightened, straight into the Cobra, find a fast bit of road, speed up and the hair takes on that professional natural straight look!!! I always wanted a Cobra, but this is quite ridiculous. I'm just a pimp for a hairdressing parlour!!! |
Fun to run the hair brush through after being in the Cobra...

Bern,
But that's exactly what you don't do!! Its the Cousin It look. Straight but not straight. Oh by the way - the Richard Gere look is in so you must be in!! Distinguished, mature - just bloody old!!! Hope I have as much hair at your age! God looking fella!!!!! |
I drove 3 bikini models a few miles to a car show where a buddy of mine wanted to use the Cobra in his commercial booth. A last minute screw up left the girls late and without a ride at my office after I photographed them for a show poster (hott!! - I'll post a pic later). Must have been quite a sight going down the road - 2 stacked in the passenger seat and one up on the rear deck behind us in a bit of a provocative position because of the forward braced roll bar. Needless to say, I had to try and avoid the view in the dash mirror if I wanted to get us there in one piece!
|
That was quite a weekend!! Here are the posters we produced. The middle one was used for the show. The others will be used for ads or some other event.
EDIT: Poster pics deleted. On reflection and seeing them on screen, I think I should do some judicious "editing" before reposting them. I'll do that asap. Sorry, but I think Brent will be happier. |

Something tells me you are about to get a few emails asking to send copies direct... Bernie |

Hey Peter, Just read that 'Post" above, Richard who.. I actually have dark brown hair, but found woman prefer the older distinguished look. So there, my secret is out I use a grey hair dye...I just find now that I only have to dye a few hairs grey. Seriously, its been that way since I was 30 years old. Just the pressure of life and work.. ...just don't say anything more of they will talk about you - or both of us..%/ May have to take those photos off my gallery. Don't want to be giving anyone ideas about a Senior Citizen race class. Bernie |
Hey fellas, that's enough Senior Citizen nonsense.
Most Cobra owners own Cobras because they are old enough to remember whey they could walk into a Ford dealership and buy one off the showroom floor. Today, they're in their 50's and 60's. What was a dream in their teens and 20's, is a reality today. Cheers! |
Buzz,
Any luck on getting those bikini model posters set for our delicate eyes? :D |
cummin' right up...

These guys over here would have me in that class as quick as you could say it... Bernie |
They're back
Here are the revised posters all safe and sanitary. Other than making sure the girls were adequately modest and covered, I also thought it wise to remove the paint manufacturer's name and logos since these were done for a local distributor and not necessarily endorsed by the paint company itself.
The first is the actual show poster used on that (wonderful) day... http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/10277pos.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0277newpos.jpg http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../10277pos8.jpg |
Now there are some posters! Who says sex doesn't sell?
Uh, nice Cobras too. |
What the he!! are you talking about flip, there arent any Cobras in those pictures!
|
%/...nice cars
Bernie |
Yea guys - it's a real pain trying to get a nice shot of a car with these pesky nude models running around trying to get in the picture. Dirty job but I guess somebody's got do do it.:p
(actually; as you can probably tell, the girls were photo'd separately and then "painted" and pasted in photoshop. We had tried using real body paint which you can see in the pic with the blue Cobra. It was great messy fun but generally didn't produce the results I was looking for :JEKYLHYDE The first car was scanned from a magazine and the Cobras are from the same photo of my white Unique.) |
I like the racing number on the blue car...
|
I'll settle on the racy number in the first pic. :)
|
LOL - One girl sez her favorite number is 68: "you go ahead and I'll owe you one..."
