Would this work?

Hey there everyone, just looking for some input on a subject.
Check out this and let me know what ya thing?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MakeTrack=true
Can someone measure there oil cooler and tell me if this one is close to the right size?
Also do you think it will be able to fit my engine?
I realise the hoses look kinda cheap and maybe it is cheaper to buy the pieces indivdually and get some better quality hoses, just looking for thoughts.

Thanks

After looking at more ebay stuff I also found this one

Hi Boxhead .
Because you have a gen 3 im pretty sure if you look at the side of the sump where your filter is (mine is front left ) at the back of that side i have 2 grub screws in the sump that i have been told that they are presurized with oil by the pump and i could run a cooler from there i dont know how to put a pic in this message so i have put one in gallery

Regards
Paul

Paul , David,

Yes the grub screws at the back are connected to the oil gallery. The back one goes to the bearings and the front one is from the pump.I plan to install an accusump in the rear plug and also put oil pressure sensor / switch here also.

I have removed front oil filter and added an adaptor then put in a remote filter and cooler. You need to run min -12 for coolers etc.

The accusump is purely a preoiler as I figure the extra routing of oil and original design could cause oil starvation on start up.

David, I'll measure my cooler and let you know.

Phil

I am sure that my car wont need an oil cooler, but they look good :D

I know about the bungs in the sump, and I was going to use them, I havent looked at all into the cost of a cooler setup and just thought these may be a cheap way to get one.
