Alloy Cobra for sale

This is the only alloy bodied Cobra I know of that is currently for sale in Australia. Seems like a killer price for $68K.

Hmmm.... anyone want to buy my car less engine?!? ;)

Go on Craig, I am sure you want it.

I'm on Ebay ordering all of the sandpaper and polishing compound as I type this. Not really, but it's fun to dream. The prospect of buying a complete alloy car that is already registered and complianced over here is a very tasty thought.

I have no doubt that the Kirkham or CSX4 body/chassis/suspension would be nicer out of the box, but I can't see any alloy Cobras being imported into Australia without either a very significant investment in the usual compliance bullsh!t that we all know about, or some equally creative customs smoke and mirror trick. Neither of which am I prepared to accept.

Craig,

Hi mate, that has been around for some time. I first saw this after talking with G Forxce cars in WA. They have the body for sale at about $39,000 Aust. dollars from memory.

Thought about it for a while also.

Now with some polishing and black stripes...

Bernie - I seemed to remember the car being for sale, but I wasn't aware of the cheap price. If they sell the alloy option for $39k, that makes the rest of the car $30k. That's a lot for your 30 gorillas. Leather, stainless, right wheels, 351W, Tremec, etc, etc, etc.

Craig,

I fully agree it's great value at the price. I also did the sums and thought not bad.

The registration would just change over without any problem.

Still have vision of highly polished body and stripes.

Bernie
