This is a new project. Rear engined using Honda R motor or maybe Ford depending on final negotiations. Body is slab sided with air intakes to brakes and inlet. Front mount radiator.About same length as Cobra but longer and wider track. Should come in well under 1000kg. Reminds me of a Chapparel. I think it will look good.Should be finished for the Sydney Motorshow. Ians got a lot of Cobras on the go at the moment and has employed an apprentice. Mike, Not much happened on the Long weekend on the Cobra. Went to Hunter Valley with some other desperate 50++ . Found some nice restaurants ( all Tapas style) and tried a few wines (any style) Ian has now got the body on the new car. Couple of teething problems but all sortable. The panels are a lot more complicated than the Cobra and getting a nice fit straight off the mould will take a couple of goes. Keep having fun. Phil :D |
