The packet has the details that many of you have asked for...including:

-maps and details about trailer/rig parking.
-Vendor/Manufacturer Display areas
-Detailed Itineraries for each day.
-Bring your FRS radios!
-Maps/directions for the poker-run and cruises.
-optional activity info.
-Autocross
-local taxi and roadside aid.

Bernie leaves in a few hours and I pick him up at the Phoenix airport tomorrow. He is really looking forward to the trip across country so he can meet friends and see London.
Also if things go right I might have two GT40's at the show.

Hersh:)

trularin 06-15-2005 11:16 AM

Way cool.

The aussies can come, if they want.

rdorman 06-15-2005 11:27 AM

aussies = our brothers from down under:)

Two 40s! Hard to drive both at the same time isn't it? LOL. I am sure Eric Geisert, Kit Car Editor, will need a lift. Kristen will to!
Rick

How about a driver!!!!

I could drive around the editor, and tell him my lifestory. :D

got down the drag strip on Saturday in 14.5 .

Not great, but not too bad for my first time....
now in the 40....... hmmmmmm.

:D
looking forward to next Friday!

After driving to Tulsa and back (10+ hours), I'm glad about my decision not to drive to London. Maybe next time or two, or three.

A question for you, Rick. The welcome thing on the website, is that different from another packet? Will we get something in London, or do we print out the entire thing on our own computer?
I'm a little confused. ooops!

The Welcome pages on the website is just a summary. In it you will see a reference to the registration package. The registration package is being finished now and is about 16 pages. All the details (at least I hope all the details!). Of course you will also get your Summit Racing goodies bag and coupons and stuff at registration as well. While you are at the registration area, you can sign up for volunteer time, sign the good ole insurance waiver, get some shirts, but some raffle tickets (both for the car and other goodies), etc. :)

Guess who's driving the second GT40

Sorry guys but...**)

I been practising for the last two weeks driving on the wrong side. Plus I have the keys..:3DSMILE:

Also, been power drifting, over steering, under steering and doing roll backs at 50mph on the track. Think I have the hang of it now..

Look forward to catching up with you all again

The big send off that the Aussies are giving me is a real worry. I think they hope I'm staying over there with you all..:3DSMILE:

Cheers

Bernie
