Just came back from a local cruise night. I think this car is a copy of Mad Max. Like the license plate ... :o :o

Guys we have the only driving car (from the movie) left in a shipping container down here at Canal Rd film centre.
It was sent to South Africa for the last film ,but like ALL our bloody films got canned and now the car lives in a 40 foot container down here. A sad ending for such an icon of a car. Anyway nice replica but is missing side pipes , fuel tanks , blower etc. |
I saw a great mock up at the Silverton Pub earlier this month.
It has even got a fly blown 671 on it!! |
Some one should write to Mel Gibson and tell him about the movie car just sitting in storage like that. Maybe he would buy it and give it a proper home.
