Cobra Car Club of Victoria
Kamal,
Perhaps I did not make myself clear in my previous reply. The Vic club has meetings on the first Thursday of each month held in Melbourne at Club Tivoli 291 Dandenong Rd Windsor (Prahran) at 7:30pm. You are welcome to come to the meeting and you can join the club there. Alternatively you can download a membership form from the vic website. Easiest way to find is to Google "Cobra Car Club of Victoria" and it's the first on the list. Link is - http://users.ncable.net.au/~bryanw/C...f_Victoria.htm Cheers Tony (Club Pres) |
SR plates are 'Special Registration' for some time people believed that these were Street Rod registration as they are controlled under the Australian Street Rod Federation with delegate Con Manzaris as the nominated person in control.
The SR plates mainly appear on Street Rods, although I have seen one Cobra with them. You may make an enquiry with the Federation to gain Con's details. Con lives out Dandy or Doveton way and may be in the telephone book.. CH plates are Classic Historical plates. They are under no one single persons control, but are however controlled by a number of clubs that have approval from the rego authorities. Perhaps you could make some enquiries with the authority to gauge which direction may suit you. Both plates provide limited use, however this is being relaxed somewhat. The rego people appear to be very focused on stopping owners from hiring cars. Again check the site out. See you at a meeting - if I get there..:3DSMILE: |
thanks guys, i guess i will see use at next months meeting!

G'Day Kamal,
I don't want to be a party pooper but have you had the car "engineered" ? It should have been done during construction and at completion. Otherwise you might be in for some expensive modifications . If it's been built and registered already and you've just bought it..your laughing ! Any way it looks pretty good ...I'm an RMC owner too. Smithy. |
hey guys been a while since i posted on here, so i thought i would place some updated pics of the car. i just finished the interior on it.
