Rego without windscreen
Am I stuck in the Bermuda triangle or what???
I started a thread a few days ago but it seems to have vanished, so I'll ask the question again. Who has recently registered their car without a windscreen and when was it??? |
Sorry, don't know anyone in QLD that has reg'd a car without windscreen.

I had a windscreen, wipers and demisters all working for rego.
Our engineer did however say that you do not need demisters as i did not have a roof. He also did not check if things were working, he was just interested whether the components were as per ADR requirments. He then went on to say that the Blue slip guy will check all of that!!!! I Know I got away with a lot, and I put that down to the engineer who was more interested in passing the car and getting me out of the way. At the time I think he had ten or more Cobras trying to get engineered before the end of the year. I should not complain the car passed and was registered. The engineering report has minimal detail and no photos, perfect!!!! Phil |

I think you must have used the same guy as I did. He told me that if I didn't have a screen I didn't need wipers, squirters and demisters. Brett |
Got mine through engineering without a windscreen but had it fitted for blue slip. Didnt have demisters as I didnt have a top,so not required.
