"ANYTHING PETROL HEAD RELATED"

1. Petersen Automotive Museum - Los Angeles
2. NHRA Hall of Fame Museum - Riverside County (Pomona/Glendora)
3. Donut Derelicts (OC - Huntington Beach) and/or Crystal Cove (between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, further south down "PCH" - Pacific Coast Highway) - ANY early Saturday morning...tons of cars on display.

Go to http://www.socalcarculture.com/index.htm and click on "Cruise Nights" at the top right. You will see all the listings. So Cal is a BIG place, so you may have to choose your spots depending on where exactly in Los Angeles you intend to hang out.

If you are a Shelby disciple, then visit the showroom/factory in Las Vegas. Personally, I think the time would be better spent admiring the fine cocktail waitresses at (pick any high end hotel on the Las Vegas Strip). :D

Rent a car and plan on doing a lot of driving ON THE RIGHT (i.e. "CORRECT") SIDE OF THE ROAD!

We sponsor the Tim Wilkerson Nirto Funny Car and the season starts on the west coast and ends on the west coast. dunring May and June wea are usually in the midwest. The 2007 Schedule isn't out yet. I am assuming when you said Top Fuel you were talking about drag racing. This year goodyears changed the tires so it has been a different season for everyone, but we are finally getting the new chassis and tires figured out. To bad the timing is wrong I could host you nithe pit. 7000hp up close it a trip. Nothing like hte smell of nitro inthe morning.

This one is a good time as well! The very first time I went to a show with my car was to the Pavillion. I have never seen a regular cruise in of that size.. at least not for cars.

Hi Darren,

There's certainly lots to do in Cal.

I have been to Crystal Cove and to a number of runs there. Make contact when you get there as there is certainly something on all the time.

Arizona is is very active with the Pavillions as suggested.

I spent a great evening there with the Arizona Cobra club...

Hi to Hersh, Mikie and the gang there....:3DSMILE:

This was followed by a run to a local burger shop and an impromptu display in the carpark there.

Petersens in LA is worth a visit as suggested it's right opposite the subway. They have a big carpark under as well. Check their site to see what is the featured marque when you are there. You may also find a wooden boat display in the carpark below.

Huntington Beach is also a good stopover. Dukes at the road end of the Pier and a great little restaurant in 50's theme on the end of the pier. Parkings good here also. From LA south for about 40 minutes on the H405. Easy driving.

Taking the family.... then you may want to head out to North LA to the getty Museum. Again parking down under and a mono rail up to the museum. The museum is very interesting and the tour guides take tours on art and even the architecture of the building which I went on and found interesting. very cheap also.

Have fun
