Help with Original spec wheel and tyre sizes

I had the first visit from my engineer today. He wants me to find out the original tyre and wheel sizes (the widest that were offered standard)... A link to that information would be great if possible.

He also mentioned some other interesting stuff too. Apparently there is a new national code for these ICV's. I mentioned having to take off the sidepipes to get through rego in other states, he said that you should be able to get through with them now. I said "yeah right, good luck with that". Time will tell I guess....

where's the rest on the new ICV code...

as for original wheel sizes - as usual if you need a link ERA are a good source.

"...For the 427, we like to use 235/60-15 in the front, 295/50-15 in the rear. These sizes duplicate the original cars' outside diameters. This makes the car look "right"...."
