The King's Chevy Daytona

One of the news channels over here reported that Peter Brock was driving a "Chevy Daytona" at the time of the accident.

If the King of the mountain's car is called a Chevy Daytona, from this day forward I am offically building a Chevy Cobra.

RIP Mr Brock

Yes Channel 10 here referred to the Daytona as a Chevrolet Daytona. I did hear later that was after the news reporter saw the engine specs. on the participants listing.

Guess the new staff don't understand that some Fords have Chevrolet engines in them.

I think the passenger is Mick Hone from the motor cycle fame..

If so he has an aluminium Cobra built in New Zealand with a CSX # and plate from CS on it...%/. Hone has a business and is based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The coupe was built in the Motec factory next to the old Roaring Forties GT40 factory in Dromana Victoria ( yet to be confirmed)

A sad day for motor sport.
