Building headers
I'm at that stage now when I have to build my headers on my CR.
I have brought a DIY kit for my LS1 from Darren Di Filippo . And was wondering if there any DO's and DONT's when building them. And if there is any specific pipe lenght etc. Thanks Paul |
I bought the DiFilippo kit to build mine. Darren's shop is just up the road from me and I talk with him pretty regulaly.
If you are building headers for side pipes you will probably need more 45 degree bends than 90's. I probably used about 10 or 12 45's and 6 or 8 90's to do my headers. The kit has heaps more bends than you need but just ask Darren to swap a few of the 90's for extra 45's when he ships it out. Cheers |

Mike, I see a little job heading your way. Now don't get distracted. Stay focused on the Cobra project.. When you are finished I have four small jobs for you. But I stay away until you have finished your Cobra. Don't want to distract you..:3DSMILE: |
I have only used 90's to build my headers.
Could this be the beginning of my trouble???????? I'll post some pics of my progress soon. |
