Leaving it to the last Minute

I woke this morning grabbed a cup of coffee and went in the shed to see the cobra on one side with the engine and gear box on the other.

What should have been a simple oil leak fix has turned into a bit of a problem, I have a some broken teeth on the flywheel. This isn't to bad but I wont get it fixed untill Monday, so I can see some late nights if I am going to make it to the track on thursday!!!!

I am sure there are many stories of things left to the last minute when it comes to preparing our cars for the nationals.

Would love to hear them

Worst luck I have seen before Nationals was Kevin Horner and his stunning car. Just had it at the mechanic less than a week before Nationals getting final check...mechanic took it for a road test and crashed.

Some major surgery and no sleep all week and it was ready with only a couple of hours to spare.

Now that was amazing...
