National warning
It's dangerous on the roads!!!!!
Hi all :MECOOL: Wish I was able to make the Nationals at Wakefield Park Raceway this year, but work and renovations at work keep me grounded. There are tradesmen everywhere. :CRY:...just saw this... I just saw a news item where the New South Wales Minister was stating that there is absolute ZERO tolerance on the roads this weekend for speeding motorists. He stated this is a follow up on the massive accident in Victoria. He further stated that it was a double points and double dollar weekend. Every available mobile and camera unit was going to be operational.Marked and unmarked Police cars with Police members who are all on cancelled leave or cancelled days off.........:eek: $400 - $500 fines for 15kph over. Mmmmmm... %/ So guess it may be a good thing to stay within the limits or near too..**) Hell I know we would never speed. %/ Have a great weekend. Thanks for posting my photo. Sheila...er Donna was driving when I took that photo. We were coming back from Nashville Motor Speedway in our 90 Vert. We met some really nice folks from down under at the birthday bash. We spent this weekend in the other Aus..... Austin, TX. They have a wonderful place there where u can get huevos rancheros and Bottled Beer for breakfast. It's called Taco Cabana. what a way to start the day. slainte tommy |
