There has been talk of this recently, but last I heard was that some people in the NT government didnt want to run the event yet, they felt it was still too soon after the accident with the Japanese driver in the Ferrari.
This might give me a new target completion date.

Holy crap $10,000.00 entry fee, maybe I wont have a go at it.

I think that includes accomodation, meals, parties every night etc.

Not cheap, but I bet it would be worth it!

I would like to see some more details, It only takes some of the locals about 10 hours from Alice to Darwin, I am not sure what is happening for the other 4 days.

I am waiting for more information regarding this event,
I was showing one of the guys in spare parts and he has said that if I have the car ready he will get sponsorship for the $10,000 entry.

he is dead keen to have a go at this and has even offered to come and help with the car.
