Travel to the Hanging Rock
Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone was heading to Picnic at Hanging Rock for the Cobra display..:confused: What was the meeting place - Calder Park Raceway at 8.ooam?? Not sure let me know? What was the Macedon Cafe meeting place..:confused: Did anyone listen at the last Club meeting? **) Bernie |

Weather is looking good for Sunday so I might venture down. No info on the Vic Cobra club site and last week's meeting seemed to be a bit of a closed door affair so I don't have any details - can anyone help please?
I'm looking forward to talking to owners of the cars that I checked out at Club Tivoli last week. Caught up with Todd & Bernie and waited as long as I could for the owners of the turbo'd V8s to leave the venue, but by 10pm it was time to find some dinner - damn, I was hanging to hear those cars take off! :) Will anyone be driving a Harrison cobra to Hanging Rock? |
Some of the cobras are meeting at Sunbury, outside of the Hume city council office,at 7.30 AM , which is in Macedon st Sunbury,opposite the police station.
We are then going to drive to Mount Macedon for breakfast at the Trading post cafe . Then onto Hanging rock. |

Sorry the door was closed but you guys could have come in. Todd told me later that there wrere a few people outside wanting to come in and stayed out - including him. I think the door was closed to just keep the noise out it was not a 'closed meeting'...**) May see you at Hanging Rock. There is usually a real mix of Cobras there. Re the Harrison talk with Rob H. at Doug's as he has recently built a Harrison..**) May have since sold it though to do another..:confused: |
