LS1/ Ford Gearbox
Hello Brains Trust
Has anyone fitted an auto XR6/XR8 type triptronic gearbox to an LS1. Or can someone tell me if there are adaptors/ torque convertors avaliable to acheieve this highly desirable amalgamation. :rolleyes: Cheers |
This wouldn't be an easy job I don't think. I reckon the Ford loom and ECU probably drives the trans (just like LS1's do)....

Hello, you could try castlemaine rod shop, they make a large range of bellhousings for different conversions, if they dont have it you could ask them what it would cost to fabricate one....
