Morgan Park Cobra`s

Here is 5 1/2 minutes of Video from the Morgan Park track day.

It`s taken from the same spot on the track so sorry if it might get a bit boring. %/

Couldn`t work out how to keep the sound of the V8`s but it was a bit windy through the microphone anyway.

And yes the 4th & 5th clip are the same. :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE

Nick, that was great....loved it.

Plums 02-25-2007 02:56 AM

I agree, that was great. Makes me want to get out to the shed right now!!!

PCC 02-25-2007 03:39 AM

Excellent Nick - excellent!

And I did like the look of that white Cobra; I think it was those big wheels that set it off - looked the part.

And nice to see the Scottmobile holding off a GT40 - I assume that was Scott

Philm 02-25-2007 03:54 AM

It was ME

Great video Nick enjoyed it.

PCC, that is my white cobra, the classic revival body seams to be taller in the sides and I have accentuated this by having the sidepipes mounted very low.

The wheels are 18s front and back.

Phil

Won't be White for much longer;)

PCC 02-25-2007 05:39 AM

Very nice Phil. Its those wheels - accenuates the height - hope the locals looked after you.

Freindly bunch!

Tenrocca 02-25-2007 02:33 PM

Great video - IS the aspect ratio right? they all look a little taller to me (could be just my eyes playing tricks on me though) :)

Leeroy 02-25-2007 02:38 PM

Nice work Mr. Cameraman loved every minutes of it

demicobra 02-25-2007 04:03 PM

Hey Andrew,

Not sure about the aspect ratio.

Phil`s car does seem to have the illusion of being taller from the side.

Especially with the 18"wheels & lower mounted side pipes.

You have a valid issue , so I`m going to drop my fee to half my usual rate

1/2 of 0 = 0 ;)

Cool video. Some great photos as well.

Yep, classic revival's are definitely taller. You can also see it in the engine bay, makes for great engine -> bonnet clearance.

As Phil said, the low pipes accentuate the height difference.

Phil, with those bling wheels, you've just got to paint it black. I know you are not going to, but with black you would get that gangster/hood look. :D

spookypt 02-25-2007 05:49 PM

Craig, that's just what the Cobra Nats need. Another Gangster ride! Common Phil. shake that booty home boy and paint it BLACK! Welcome to the HOOD!

Philm 02-25-2007 11:23 PM

You can guarantee it will not be authentic.

I am working towards disqualification in the show and shine this year, by having paint.

I may even get a few things polished.

Matt, you are my inspiration.

Phil

400TT 02-25-2007 11:44 PM

Phil, if it looks half as good as Matt's you would have done well.

It was pretty obvious why they pulled Matt's(spookypt) black Harrison to the front row for the photo shoot...his cobra just has THAT look.

LoBelly 02-26-2007 06:12 AM

oh yeah :)

spookypt 02-26-2007 03:25 PM

Phil, don't forget this years new trophy class for "Car Transporters".... Mate I am challenging you for the title this year. The only thing I took home last year was a bad case of sleep apnia!!
Now where is my buffer......... ??
