Speedo sticker ??
Does anyone know of a sticker that will go on a speedo that converts MPH to KPH ??
The speedo I have is in MPH and a sticker would save me bying another. Thanks |
Hey Paul, I reckon Howards could do it, as they make a new face for their VDO's to look like Smiths (as mentioned in another thread) alternatively, could you just crack it open and put a temporary "kph" sticker over the "mph" sticker just for rego. Sure it will only look like it goes up to 150?k's, but it might savea bit of hassle.

Its' been a while but when I registered my Cobra the RTA wasn't worried about MPH or KPH dials all they wanted was a six digit odometer....the original smiths anticlockwise speedo was acceptable ONLY if it had a six digit odometer.....it had five digits, like most human hands. So I put a datsun
200B speedo inside an old Triumph Smiths body to make the RTA (spell check suggests RAT) happy...they were. |
