Anyone know where you can buy carbon fibre sheets from?
Preferably in QLD thanks |

Thanks Spook,
Scott's on the case! |
PCC you can't come on here and ask where to get Carbon Fibre and not tell us what you are going to do with it!
|
Did you want pretend, (fake) Carbon sheeting?? Or are you chasing real fabric or prepregs to make your own components????
If you're chasing the real thing, the best place to buy is from Advanced Composites in NSW... http://www.itlogistics.net.au/html/c.../howtofind.htm They'll send the stuff anywhere and are great to deal with! |
How about fake stuff, eg, for sticking over the front of the rear wheel arches to protect against stone chips? Always wondered where I'd get it from... :)

Look up your yellow pages for fibreglass suppliers / resins / marine. You are bound to find a contact that wayand buy it off the roll from a larger supplier its usually cheaper and for that stuff its way expensive as it is!

Thanks Les, but RS had none in Australia.
Blair - Its for some facia restoration work - replacing the stick on type (looks fine from a distance, but close up not as good). Will post a pic when done. |
Pete, Europa Spares in the mother Country have a carbon look panel you can buy:
