Fuel tank leaking

Well when I got home tonight and went into the garage the floor was covered in petrol and it was pouring out of the Cobra.
I don't know what would cause a catastrophic leak as there was no sign of a leak yesterday and the Cobra hasn't moved for a couple of weeks.
As the tank is in the boot above the dif it will be a difficult job to get to it to examine where it is leaking from.
That will be a job for tomorrow.
Cheers,
Bryan

Brian, make sure you hook the car to an earth. Plastic bodies make static electricity.

Sounds like a bugga of a job.

Brian I went through this same problem last summer. As it turned out my vent had became clogged and the tank was under a vacuum and cracked at the seam.

Good luck.

Clois
