Lining a Boot
I have some carbon fibre work going into the boot, but I'm looking at re-lining the rest with some good quality carpet.
Doestic carpet seems a bit stiff, so can anyone recommend a wilton type that is pretty pliable? And where do you get hold of it? Thanks |
A lot of the modern automotive carpets have a stiff plastic backing. They are designed to be molded to the shape of the floor with a bit of heat applied to the backing. You can readily shape this stuff using a heat gun and come up with a really professional result. Once you have the shape pull it out and get the edges bound ay a rug shop or motor trimmer.

Overlocking;)
