Short Power Steering Rack??

Hi guys,

Start long service leave in a month and I'm going to make a huge effort on the cobra. Need some help though.

My kit has a shortened Falcon rack, chopped down so much it can't be used as power steering cause one of the line fittings is cut out on the ram body. Trouble is I'd like power steering. The rack is 18.25 inches, end to end. Does anyone know of a factory rack that is in the same ball park, so I don't have to go to Appleton.

I should also say that the car is really well set up for a rack this length.

Pardon my ignorance......any ideas??

Thanks
Hogster

I'm fitting a VK Commodore power rack to my Cobra which is currently under construction at Harrison's. Sorry I don't know the dimensions but you could find out from a wrecker easily enough. I know it's not the exact answer you were after but it should be in the ballpark.

You could probably even paint it Ford blue if you wanted! :)
