Vent louvres and bumpers
Hi guys,
I'm looking for some guidance on how to measure out the side vent cut outs for my louvres. There's no markings on the body I have, and I'd like to get it right first time:confused: Secondly same situation for the front and rear bumpers. Any references to other sites?? I've had a pretty good mans look and I can't find what I need. Thanks Hogster, Darwin |
Hi Andrew,
Tough one mate as most bodies are slightly different.Mine is 210mm up from the sill and 535mm forward of the door opening to the lower rear corner of the vent opening. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...008_Small_.jpg With the over rider holes I lined up the mounting brackets as best I could,drilled small hole then gradually enlarge it to line up.Have a few beers first,makes you more relaxed before you start drilling! The bumpers are 30.5" (x25.4 mate) on vertical centres for the mounts. They are centered horizontally on the vent holes and radiator mouth up and down. I can get louvre info if you need it. ERA's website is great for that stuff!
