Hello from Snakeskin Editor
Hi Everyone, I am the newly appointed snakeskin editor with the CobraCarClub of WA here in Perth, Western Australia and a very recent member of this forum.
I Got a tech application in for a G-force big block but havent started the car yet. I drove my first Cobra (a Robnell) in 1986 and have been hooked ever since. was wondering if anyone knows how I can post a PDF file here (if that was possible) so everyone can download the Full Color new look Magazine I am about to start producing. I am wanting to achieve the same look and feel as the online eMagazine that windingroad.com produce. any ideas?? thanks everyone and hey this site is really cool. Rob. |
Rob, welcome to the forum. There's some info on how to attach files here.
I haven't used the attachments feature but if you get it to work I'm sure a few people around here would be interested in your new publication - myself included! Cheers, Paul |
Hello Rob,
Welcome. Ben |
G'day Rob and welcome.
Good to see another GForce owner even if you are on the other side of the world. There are a few Perth cobraphiles here on the forum you'll need to catch up with eventually. Have GForce made many Mark 2 chassis (big block capable) of recent years? All the ones I know of are Mk 1 chassis like mine. Cheers Steve |
Rob welcome to the forum.
Look forward to checking out the magazine when linked to the site here. Cheers |
yes, Rob Graves (owns G-Force) has developed (by evolutionary means) a dedicated Big Block chasis, will take 429 or 460 motors. Uses much bigger pieces of metal. torsionally stiffer. I'll post a pic of the chasis when I get a chance to snapshot one at G-Force.
Rob has also made a new mould for is bodies recently and the finish of the glass straight out of the mould is staggering. would have to be the best fibreglass body anywhere. it has a high gloss finish that's near perfect and will save a lot of prep time at the paint shop. Mine will have a 460 of about 450 - 500 HP with Tremec 5 speed on LPG gas direct injection. and 335 rear tyres on 18" rims. well thats the plan... |
Hi Everyone, I am very unhappily having to to tell you that the CobraClubWA decided they did not want to proceed in the direction i wanted to go after all with the club newsletter / magazine. I was not at the AGM meeting due to business committments and so was not able to answer some of the "older" members questions. They have appointed someone else as editor at the recent AGM (which was to be my official appointment) and it seems they are content to put up with their black and white photocopied thing. Sorry to raise your hopes and expectations. I have finished the PDF Magazine, so if anyone wants a copy, just PM me and i will email it. it is about 9MB in size. cheers.
Rob (almost editor) hopefully the web master of the club will also post a copy of my effort on the club site. http://www.cobracarclubwa.com/ |
There's so much interest in Cobras in Australia and this is one very active forum... Rob, why not make it a national magazine? I reckon you'd get a ton of interest.

Rob
I'd be interested in a copy. Will PM you my home address email. Cheers Steve |
