A special thanks to Terry and Lyn for letting the club use their house AGAIN for the annual XMAS IN JULY FESTIVITIES.

The Rocker Cover racing was a hit with the kids (and some of the so called adults).

50 in attendance for a chilly Sunday BBQ.
Great event and good to see a few of the new members and families joining in the fun.
Thanks Terry.

We'll need to start getting ready for the real Christmas party soon. Let’s see if we can get 100 along this year (2nd weekend in Dec).
Getting a giant jumping castle for the kids this year and Santa will be there with pressies for the kids as with previous years.

Heathcote Park this Saturday (4th), brunch at the Papershop (12th). Then a family day at the Zoo (26th) to round out the month.

The year is flying along, the Cobra weather will be upon us before we know it.:)

The Queensland gang had last weekend away as well for the "Christmas in July" .

We had 60 make the trip, all off to Tranquil Park, in Maleny.
It's up in the mountains , at the back of the Sunshine Coast/ Maroochydore area....bloody beautiful part of the world.

Check it out on....

We had a "Rocky Horror/Gothic" theme for the party on Saturday Night, and once we've sorted through the pictures of the evening, to make sure the innocent are protected, we'll post them on the Queensland website.

Awesome party, and amazing costumes from the entire group.

Found out that I continue to suffer with "Citrus Intolerance "

I drank about 100 Coronas....all had lime slices in them....and next day the pain was unbelievable....bloody limes.

Regards,

Warren.

WAZZA, The good side is you don't have to worry about SCURVY!

Wazza

I reckon I drove the family through that area and past the park on a day's outing when we were up there last September on hols. The view towards the GH mountains is what triggered the thought.

If it is the same area the terrain was spectacular and great for cobra visits too - in spots!!
