Austrailian Roller

Need some info from down under. A buddy of mine here is Houston told me his friend was ordering a complete Cobra roller that is made in Austrailia. Can you tell me what manufacturers there offer this product. He mentioned is has a tubular frame and is Shelby endorsed?

Thanks

Mark

pass ??? i dont know of any Shelby endorsed Australian manufacturers.
anybody else in Oz got any ideas ????????????
I heard smeone form USA was talking to G-Force last week, but why would'nt he just buy an American roller ???? probably be cheaper anyhow. ????

oh hang on.... there is this lebonese car dealer in Perth who bought a handmade aluminium bodied G-force car from its owner (Alan) last year for $55,000 and was advertising it for $380,000 he put a big block in it, but the chasis was not designed to take the HP. it was always a small block car. I know this car dealer has been stretching the truth about the former owner and the car. so look out for that. you can get a nice G-force and put a kirkham body on it for a lot less and have a car that is 3 times better.

Goober,

There are several kits here in OZ, but none are Shelby endorsed.

Not sure why anyone would buy from over here when you have so many good kits!

Bear in mind that ours our right hand drive.

Smells like a con to me. :(

No Australian manufacturers are Shelby endorsed.

Hi Mark,

I think BigBlockRob's probably maybe onto the only thread of connection...There's no Aust based cobras Shelby endorsed.

I work in Houston and live in Perth, Western Australia and beleive me, there's no finacial reason why you'd send a kit cobra from Aust to the US!

The value for money and flexibility in terms of meeting regulations that you have in the US (especially Texas) is something we would all like down here!!

I think the only round tubular frame currently manufactured in Australia is the Python but it's nothing like a Shelby frame. The Python is not Shelby endorsed either.

Cheers

Although not made here, Superformance is Shelby endorsed and can be bought in Australia. I have no idea what the endorsement is worth, but I have yet to affix my endorsement plate to my car (it rides in the glovebox)!!
