$300k Cobra for sale in Perth

Just spotted this on the internet. It seems very expensive for a replica. What do others think.

Aluminum body build in 1990? 4 speed and a 5 speed Tremec, that's nice. Injected 7.1 liter motor and right hand drive. Now I understand why they want $300,000.:)

I think the Ad should of read
"complete idiot wanted to buy a badly built re shaped aluminium can.
looks like a bad copy of an original, and is heaps good and that "

I know the history of this car. it is owned by a Lebonese car dealer in perth west Australia. the dealer paid AUD$55,000 for the car. It is an early G-Force chassis and was built by a past perth club member. it is really only worth around $70k (tops) . the guy is a complete tosser. and the big block he put in it is too much Hp for the flimsy Chassis.

It's a strange world out there!!! It's possible that someone could just see "alluminium body, 427 big block", and just pay up without doing any research.... Unfortunately, some people are just gullible and this dealer (and many others) prey on that...:(

You'd think for $300 large he'd use something a little more exotic than a Edelbrock performer intake. :3DSMILE:
