another bloody newbie

I bit the bullet and ordered my chasis and body (Kenmer) and am now waiting on delivery. I have most of the suspension and steering, an engine and gearbox (boss 260 quad cam), brakes and instrument cluster. It is certainly interesting reading about the problems that some have, and the joy experienced when the baby is first let loose on the road. I guess that over the build period I will experience both the pain and pleasure of building my own car. I would like to also thank the Vic's for welcoming me into their ranks. I guess as time goes on I will submit pics and text of how i am progressing.

cheers, Doug

Well Andrew it looks like Warren has given you all the info about the kenmer cobra. I can only agree with the comments on the link. Martin is a good bloke and very helpful. It took a long time to decide which vehicle that I was going to build. I stumbled onto his car by chance reading of a borrowed mag. After meeting Martin and seeing his product it did not take long to make up my mind.

Pity the guy doesn't have a web site.

He may sell more kits. Then again, if he has a busy shop at the moment why make more work.

Good on him.

Cheers

Les

I know he had been working forward on a website but I think there was some sort of hiccup plus as a one man operation finding that time would be scarce too. There's something always on the go when I drop in from time to time!

Cheers
