oil flow ???

Guys I need help which direction does oil flow on a remote oil adaptor ?
Does it flow out of the engine through the centre hole then back through the one next to it or the other way around ??
Thanks

Other way--- Out of the engine from pump into the outer circle of holes in the filter---exits filter by center hole into center hole on block adaptor which matches up with galleries in block.

I had to ask that question too some time back, but if you think about it logically the answer is simple.

You want maximum area to filter through, so putting the oil to the outside of the filter to then drain back via the narrow internal passage gives the biggest initial surface area on the filter.

Some remotes will have oil in and out marked too. Don't start to do like I did, in to in and out to out. Detected this before I started the engine in ernest, thank God!

Cheers

Here's the easy.

Look at the block adapter and the filter mount. There's a hole in the center, and another one on the outside/off center. Each hole has a port leading to it.

During assembly connect the holes - outside to outside, and center to center.
