2 X 16mm hles and a big cable tie........
2 X 16mm holes and a big cable tie should keep my doors shut. Although it could look a bit agricultural! Seriously though, can anyone tell me if there is a preferred door striker/lock for the cobra?
Cheers, Doug Ps i don't think I need to have the doors fly open when I start practicing "slowy"s" manouevers....what was it ?.....ah yes entry ramp 180's |
The Harrison kit is designed for XF Falcon locks and strikers. I think they need to be "burst proof" regardless. Does Kenmer design the door frame for anything in particular?

too much...too much...
Yes Doug my XD - XF door latches held in place, so I can at least recommend them! These are double strike and legal. The seat belts help too!!
Not sure in the scheme of things though if a smaller version could be sourced off another vehicle. I'm guessing they'll all be pretty similar in size unless you warp back in time to say Marina latches as suggested in the GF build booklet!! These are huge I gather. Happy building! Cheers |
One of these on eack side tek screwed to the fiberglass would work a treat.
