That's a very early pic of the car out here and I've an article in my files that's about 25 years later on this same car.

I'd love to get a ride in that just to experience the real thing and how good and bad they are. But owning a beast like that has to be all good!

My Full trim DRB weighs 1220kg car only with my simmons wheels for track use on,
they are heavy as death but strong.
With the convo pro street wheels its under 1200..
I remember someone saying a Drb was close to 50/50 but have never seen documented proof..its a pity one wasnt weighed on the day..

I have learnt that 50/50 weight is wrong. Something to do with weight shift through braking and accelerating. Apparently the perfect weight distribution is . . front---52% rear---48% My little fat RMC weighs 1200 (so far) and has a spread of 53.3%-front and 46.6%-rear. It's 16kg too heavy in the front and 16kg too light in the rear. When its complete I will strive to sort the weight anomaly, but there is butt weight to consider as well.

970kg, 49% front, rest rear, Kevlar body, Carbon bonnet, light tube space frame, 350SB
